Eupepsia: Second Year Fine Art Show

Second year fine art collective JAG opens an exhibition at the Sion Hill campus gallery this week.

Eupepsia showcases the work of three second-year fine artists Abi Charlesworth, Gwen Davenport and Joanna Collins, collectively known as JAG.

   

Their work uses sculpture and installation to engage with ideas of repetitive and laborious processes. The word “eupepsia”, defined as "good digestion", was inspired by public response. The artists invited the public to submit details of their own inevitable and compulsive actions. These responses laid the groundwork for a series of sculptural and text-based works within their collaboration and within the present exhibition.
