Personal statement

Andy is the Head of Facilities and Services. He leads one of three divisions within the Estates and Services department (comprising Estate Management, Facilities and Services and Maintenance and Grounds).

Facilities and Services comprises of the following departments:

• Security (including access control, CCTV)
• Catering
• Facilities management (including waste management, porterage, cleaning, furniture, pest control etc)
• Central services (stationery, PPE, ID card production)
• Transport and parking (parking permits, ANPR)

Andy is a retired major with over 30 years’ service in the British Army (Royal Logistic Corps) and has extensive experience in facilities management and integrated services.

Throughout his career Andy has served in the Middle East, Hong Kong, Bosnia, Kosovo and Central Europe, serving with a variety of Arms and Corps including 7 Armoured Brigade (Desert Rats), Royal Regiment of Wales, Black Watch and 32 Engineer Regiment.
