The campus houses excellent fashion and textile studios and workshops, helping you to explore digital and traditional processes in textile print, embroidery, laser cut and knit.

With recently refurbished facilities, the Conference and Events team have dedicated venues within Sion Hill that can be hired to accommodate an array of events. The fully flexible spaces can be set-up to suit your event offering different capacities, subject to venue layout.

Our Café Sion coffee bar is a modern "Latte and Laptop" space. You’ll find a range of food and drinks on offer, including breakfast baguettes, pastries, jacket potatoes, pasties, sausage rolls, pizza slices, homemade soup as well as made-to-order salads and baguettes and meals of the day.
Parking is available at our Sion Hill campus however at busier times of the year sometimes our car park will become full. A pay and display system is in operation at this car park. To avoid inconvenience to the surrounding community, we kindly ask that you avoid parking on the streets around the campus.
Staff and students require a permit to park on campus. More information on permits is available on the Intranet.
Leave the M4 at junction 18 and join the A46 southbound. After 9 miles, leave the A46 and at the roundabout, and take the third exit onto the A4 into Bath. After one mile, at the traffic lights for the A36 turnoff, get into the right-hand lane and proceed straight ahead along the A4;
Take second exit at mini-roundabout along the A4 The Paragon;
At traffic lights, turn right onto Lansdown Road heading uphill. After passing the Lansdown Grove Hotel on your right, take the next left onto Lansdown Place East;
Proceed along Lansdown Crescent, down Lansdown Place West, and onto Sion Hill. Take the first right onto Sion Hill Place. The campus entrance is immediately on your right.
Due to the COVID-19 situation the intersite shuttle bus is not currently running. Up-to-date info is availalble on our getting around page.
You can travel to Sion Hill campus from the centre of Bath by catching the Lansdown Park and Ride bus from Milsom Street. If you get off at the Hamilton Road stop it’s a 10-15 minute, fairly level walk to the campus.
Or – if you’re feeling energetic – Sion Hill is a 35 minute walk from Bath’s bus station. Be prepared for a steep hill.
Bristol Airport is the closest airport to Bath, it’s about 20 miles away. You can fly to Bristol from most major cities, including Edinburgh, Paris, Brussels, Dublin, Amsterdam and New York.
To travel from Bristol Airport to our Newton Park campus, you can take an Airport Bus to Bristol Temple Meads railway station and then hop on a train to Bath Spa railway train station. Alternatively you can take a taxi directly from the airport to Newton Park.
You can also fly to London Heathrow, London Stansted, or London Gatwick and take a train to London Paddington railway station. From here you can travel onwards to Bath Spa railway station.
If you're visiting Sion Hill by train we recommend you travel to Bath Spa railway station. The train station is just a short walk to Manvers Street where you can continue your journey by bus.
