Chris Barham

Personal statement

Chris graduated with a degree in Technical Theatre from RADA (Royal Academy of Dramatic Art) in 2002. 

He has worked in the Technical Theatre industry for seventeen years in a variety of areas and roles, at venues such as the Criterion Theatre – West End, Polka Theatre – Wimbledon and Theatre Royal – Bath. 

Alongside this, he has taught at the University of Kent, Anglia Ruskin University, and the University of the West of England in Technical Theatre.

He engages regularly in lighting design, production electrician and programmer work for the theatre and live events industry.

Chris teaches on Bath Spa's Theatre, Festival and Events Production programme.

  • PGCert
  • IPAF / PASMA / FAA certified.

Professional memberships

  • ALD Professional Member (Association of Lighting Designers)
