Chris Barham

Personal statement

Chris graduated from RADA in 2002. He previously taught at the University of the West of England, Bristol. Before this, he was a Technical Demonstrator at Bath Spa University, having left the position of Deputy Chief Electrician at the Theatre Royal Bath.

He gained a wealth of experience through other university roles, West End work and regional theatre/touring theatre roles in technical and technical management capacities over the last 15 years.

He engages regularly in lighting design, production electrician and programmer work for the theatre and live events industry.

Chris teaches on Bath Spa's Theatre and Digital Production programme.

  • IPAF/PASMA/FAA certified.

  • ALD Professional Member (Association of Lighting Designers)

  • Technical consultant for emerging theatre companies and artists.
