Developed and taught by leading heritage practitioners, the course gives students the chance to build expertise in their chosen areas and provides them with opportunities to work with major heritage organisations, specialists and researchers.
We welcome postgraduate research proposals on all topics related to History and Heritage.
Postgraduate researchers play an important part in the academic life of the University. As well as having access to the excellent resources and facilities available at the University and in the local area, they participate in regular research seminars and benefit from the Researcher Development Programme, which has been designed to suit individual training needs and which enables researchers to engage in professional development throughout the course of their studies.

The AHRC-funded South, West and Wales Doctoral Training Partnership (SWW DTP) is a collaboration between eight leading research universities and multiple arts, heritage, media, and government sector partners, working together to develop a new generation of arts and humanities researchers.
